A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it’s an essential life-saving step in the chain of survival.

We have positioned this device on the outside wall at Unit 1B Moderna Business Park. It has been registered with West Yorkshire Ambulance Service so that it can be accessed in an emergency by the local community by dialling 999 where people will be directed to the closest unit to their location and given the passcode.

In support of this installation we have organised a Defibrillator Training Course with our provider SPLAT First Aid Training. The course will train employees of Microsearch and individuals from fellow companies on the Modena Business Park.
