Virgin London Marathon
Microsearch Laboratories Operations Director, Mark O’Connor is running (hopefully not walking) the London Marathon this year and is fundraising for the:
“Dementia Revolution” in their charge towards a cure! –

If you would like to support Mark in his fundraising quest then you can donate as little as £2.00 via the link
Over the years Mark has always supported his friends and family when raising money for good causes but this is the first time that he’s fund raised himself!
Mark Said: “I’m certain I can cover the 26 miles, whether I’ll be running, walking or crawling is unknown at this time due to injuries! I don’t under estimate the challenge having never run a road marathon before.
I am excited to be part of this event with 40’000 other runners and as I turn 40 in 2019.  I’d love to do the run justice. The dream would be 2hrs 59m 59s but due to lack of training I’d just be happy to complete the marathon. Wish me luck and please support me by donating to this very deserving cause.    Many Thanks”

Further information about the charity can be found here.

Mark is an experienced Fell Runner and the lack of craggy fells and muddy moor will no doubt prove to be more of a challenge than the distance itself…….

Please dig deep and donate as much as you can to this worthy cause and I’m sure this will help him on his way around 26 miles of ‘unfamiliar terrain’.
